Panic Racing's Chris Gartman makes drag bike history

Panic Racing's Langley BC rider Chris Gartman made drag bike
history July 3rd 2005, as he rode his worlds first competitive rear-engine Pro/Fuel machine to victory in the Top Fuel category of the Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association's third race of2005.

Gartman came oh-so-close to the magic six second zone in round one
while defeating Jim Flower when the unusual back-motored combo ran a 7.000! The one-of-a-kind nitro-powered entry got by a troubled Ron Houniet in the final with a 7.09/188 mph pass as the nine time Canadian champion from Maple Ridge BC overpowered the track and shut off early for an 8.19/117 mph run.

Gartman has 16 years of drag racing experience, three Pro Dragster Championships as well as three Pro Fuel championships, set numerous records along the way and is currently high in the CMDRA points for the Top Fuel champoinship.
